The Sea’s Quiet Spell is a gentle relic of shore and time, composed of rare pastel sea glass in softened hues seldom found along the coast, paired with beautifully weathered sea pottery, tiny white shells, and slender pieces of driftwood gathered with care. These muted tones, far less common than classic sea foam, lend the piece a hushed, almost whispered presence.
At its heart blooms a stunning, beautifully crazed flower, a symbol of endurance and grace shaped by years of tide and salt. Surrounding it are carefully held treasures arranged like a spell laid softly rather than cast aloud. A partial bird wing rests in the corner, suggesting watchfulness and passage, while a small horse appears like a quiet guardian from a half-remembered tale.
Each element feels chosen rather than placed, as though the sea itself paused and left behind a subtle magic. This piece speaks to patience, protection, and the quiet power of rare things worn smooth by time.

♡ Great gift idea! Perfect for the cottage or sea-themed wedding.
It's wintertime here in Prince Edward Island so my newly made sea treasure frames are filled with a combination of new and old finds. My beach-combing collection goes back more than 20 years and even longer for my Mom. I like to rummage through her collection and oftentimes I find shards from the same vessel found years apart.
This frame is filled with real hand-collected sea treasures, not a print.
These colours are considered a rare found objects and each frame has the equivalent of months of collecting along the ocean coast.
Great gift idea! Perfect for the cottage or sea-themed wedding.
Please note* some of the shards have been smoothed mainly to remove rust/dirt and the odd sharp edge. This allows the colours and patterns to pop!
Sea Glass Origins: Genuine sea glass and sea pottery originate from fragments of broken bottles, tableware, or even shipwrecks, which are gradually tumbled by the ocean over many years. This natural process can take between 50 to 100 years, during which the fragments are smoothed into their characteristic rounded shapes and the glass acquires a distinctive frosted appearance, resulting from the gradual erosion of its original sheen.
The sea treasures are real therefore they may have minor imperfections and a slightly irregular shape.
