"Amberina Dreams"

A fiery celebration of ultra-rare red sea glass and sea pottery, this artwork showcases a lifetime of collecting treasures from the sea. At its heart is a stunning red milk glass scallop shell bead, discovered along the shores of Newfoundland, complemented by a red and white milk glass marble and a frosty red cat's eye marble. The piece features ultraviolet reds, amberina red, bonfire red, red flash glass, vintage buttons, and vibrant pottery shards.

Each element I've carefully curated, with some pieces treasured for over 15 years, making this a true collector's masterpiece. Displayed in a deep, crisp white shadowbox frame, the arrangement allows the thick marbles to stand out, while the pure white backdrop emphasizes the vibrancy of the reds. In sunlight, the artwork radiates warmth, with a golden hue illuminating the timeless beauty of these rare finds.

"Amberina Dreams" is more than a statement piece—it's a tribute to the rarity and allure of sea glass, perfect for the ultimate sea glass enthusiast.

You will receive the exact frame and treasures shown in the pictures. Some of my other frames are made to order and some are what you see so please read full descriptions or ask me.

♡ Great gift idea! Perfect for the cottage or sea-themed wedding.

It's winter time in Prince Edward Island so my newly made sea treasure frames are filled with a combination of new and old finds. My beach-combing collection goes back more than 20 years and even longer for my Mom. I like to rummage through her collection and oftentimes I find shards from the same vessel found years apart.

This frame is filled with real hand-collected sea treasures, not a print.

These colours are considered a rare found objects and each frame has the equivalent of months of collecting along the ocean coast.

Great gift idea! Perfect for the cottage or sea-themed wedding.

Please note* some of the shards have been smoothed mainly to remove rust/dirt and the odd sharp edge. This allows the colours and patterns to pop!

Sea Glass Origins: Genuine sea glass and sea pottery originate from fragments of broken bottles, tableware, or even shipwrecks, which are gradually tumbled by the ocean over many years. This natural process can take between 50 to 100 years, during which the fragments are smoothed into their characteristic rounded shapes and the glass acquires a distinctive frosted appearance, resulting from the gradual erosion of its original sheen.

The sea treasures are real therefore they may have minor imperfections and a slightly irregular shape.
