Most of the pieces in this collection were found by me while beachcombing, each one catching my eye for a different reason.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt the centre is an old Russwin key, worn by time and the sea, with its original stamped markings still visible. I can't help but wonder what it once opened, who carried it, and how it eventually found its way to the shore.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAround it are antique coins, shark teeth, weathered metal, sea pottery, sea glass in whites and seafoam, a crystalline pottery fragment, an old black-purple electrical insulator still attached to its metal casing, and a beautiful septarian nodule showing its PEI red sandstone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSome are natural treasures, some are remnants of everyday life, and some are simply wonderfully strange.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat is what I love most about beachcombing. This allows the colours and patterns to pop! \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSea Glass Origins: Genuine sea glass and sea pottery originate from fragments of broken bottles, tableware, or even shipwrecks, which are gradually tumbled by the ocean over many years.
